Daydream, as often as you can.

I have tried to distinguish between meditation, and daydreaming.  Meditation uses a mantra or icon or statuary to focus attention, while you are “free-wheeling” the mind.  Daydreaming is simply “freewheeling”.  Whichever allows thoughts, concerns, worries to come and go, to appear, then to move on, without attachment or focus.  Just let the thought “fleet”, and to move on.  Meditation/daydreaming is renewing, cleansing, and wholesome and allows you to think, and live longer.  Try walking in the forest, an open space, park, finding a tree to support your posture, and just let your mind “wander”.  Try that some time.  It works.
